We stopped off to have some coffee other than the Lavazza aboard the cruise. The shop has its own roaster which was being meticulously maintained and cleaned while we decided what to try. The decor is thoughtfully curated with houseplants, monsteras and local art. Locals picked up their espresso and tonic. Wife had the Naax - chocolate con canela y azucar over a nice large ice cube. Simply delicious. I opted for La Reserva Soconusco from Chiapas - natural processed medium roast prepared as pour over with Origami and Kalita Wave filter. A beautiful, clean-tasting cup with sweetness and tons of fruity character. I decided to buy three bags to take home. We chatted with the baristas and got a taco recommendation for adobada at Tacos El Zarpazo. Highly recommend this coffee bar. I wish I could spend more mornings there and sip more handcrafted drinks.

From the moment we stepped up to the counter, the cashier's approachable and friendly demeanor set a welcoming tone. He promptly offered a menu booklet, and when I mentioned I was a first-timer looking for an iced coffee and a recommendation, he enthusiastically suggested the Mocha Cosijo with coconut milk. The experience only got better. The barista meticulously crafted my drink, bringing it to me with a pleasant, unhurried grace. There was a genuine warmth from both men; their exceptional service made me feel completely at ease. The cashier even shared some fascinating history about their logo, adding a personal touch to the visit. I also loved the inviting setup of the cafe, especially the abundance of plants, which created a serene atmosphere. While we opted to explore another spot the following day, I'm already looking forward to my next visit to continue supporting them. I'd love to see a wider selection of baked goods to pair with their unique coffee on my next trip. And unique it was! The coffee itself was a revelation. It started with a subtle, intriguing hint of chili that warmed my throat, immediately followed by a rich, comforting wave of chocolate. This is definitely not your typical American coffee; the way they've curated these flavors is something you truly have to experience to understand. It gave me a wonderful energy boost while I savored the open street view. I almost asked about the ice, but I'll save that for my next visit!

Wow. That’s the only word I have. I’m a local and always trying different coffee spots around Ensenada, and this is by far the best. It’s a small, adorable place. Parking is limited, but totally worth it. They roast their own coffee beans, and the espresso has amazing body and flavor. I also tried the chai—it’s delicious. The presentation is beautiful, and honestly, everything about this place is great. The service stands out: the staff is super knowledgeable. Angel took care of us and explained the whole process in detail. Everyone was welcoming and genuinely happy to talk about their coffee. An amazing experience from start to finish.

One of the most unique coffee shops we’ve been to - very thoughtful about crafting their coffee working towards being sugar free but delightfully sweet through natural means. Very friendly, welcoming and taught us a lot about the source of their coffee and what goes into everything they do. Definitely a great experience worth coming back to!
